Huron Valley Moms' Club Activities
The
HVMC has established a variety of activities to meet our diverse memberships’
interest and needs. Daytime activities
include children.
Evening activities are usually adult only. You may attend as many or as few
activities as interests you or as your schedule allows.

This will show the monthly calendar provided to members
that lists the monthly activities. Some of our club events meet on a monthly rotating basis Monday through Thursday.
Member Mixers: Our general membership meets monthly to socialize, discuss upcoming activities, introduce and welcome new members into the HVMC. These meetings may include a speaker or a discussion topic, an activity or craft for moms, and will include a children’s activity. These meetings are open to potential new members.
Crafter's Club: Members interested in a craft (scrapbook, journaling, knitting, etc.) meet regularly to work on their projects. Participants meet at member's homes or attend an outing.
Book Club: Members interested in book discussions get together to discuss the pre-selected book. Meeting locations rotate between participant’s homes and area establishments.
Diner's Club: Members interested in tasting cusines from the area's restaurants.
Sanity Savers: Members provide meals for Moms who could use some support (childbirth, illness, surgery, etc.).
Community Service Projects: Some of our upcoming projects this year include fundraisers for local food pantries, food or toiletries drive for Milford Community Sharing, donations to Promise Village, and projects serving the local Women’s Shelter and local senior home.

family party, Fall Family Party, Kid’s Christmas Party, Spa Day, and
Post Holiday Dinner. Holiday visits to a local senior home (Park
Place) include Caroling, Trick-or-Treat, Egg Hunt, and Valentine’s
Party.
Park Days: Club members meet once per month, weather permitting. This rotates among
local area parks and usually occurs May through September.
Field Trips: Once per month we take our children to area attractions. Past
outings have included the Detroit Zoo, apple picking, hands on museums, and
water parks.
Playgroup: Age-specific playgroups meet weekly and are hosted by participating
members in their homes. Playgroup schedules change to accommodate as many moms
and kids as possible as school schedules change and children grow (both age
and quantity). **See Playgroup Policies**
